eyes open looking at mommy and I SWEAR she is smiliing:) you can see her silo partially in this picture.
Miranda, I've been following your story about grace since Andi posted it on Facebook. I'm praying for Grace and your family. I can't imagine what y'all are going through. I wanted to let you know there are cdh organizations out there that can help. I don't know all the details but I have a friend on Facebook (her name is Tara and I think she lives in Ohio) who has a son who had six surgeries for cdh and he's really healthy and doing great. If you are interested in talking to her or getting more info on cdh help, I can get you her info. Camille
Miranda -- I got your message on our blog. I am praying for you and baby Grace. So, so scary to have to be going through all this with an undiagnosed case. I will keep up with your blog and added it to my list of CDH Fighters as well. Thinking of your entire family during this difficult time,

I found your blog through another blog I was following. Grace is beautiful! Your beginning sounds alot like ours - my son Andrew was born with Left-sided CDH back in June 2009, we did not know anything was wrong until after he was born when he was transferred from our community hospital to Hurley Medical Center in Flint and then life-flighted to Childrens Hospital of Michigan (there were no ECMO beds available at U of M or we would have been there). He ended up on ECMO and had a very rough road. But I am happy to say he is now a healthy almost 2 year old! I have been exactly where you are and my heart goes out to you and your family. Much like your family, (only opposite) we have three older girls and Andrew is our 4th - our boy. Keep the faith, these babies are amazing! I will be following your blog and praying for you all! I would be glad to talk to you anytime if you need anything - you can find me on Facebook - Michele Dudek Snyder.
